We are coming to Antwerp with our own shop/cafe! Think thematic TTRPG rooms, boardgame cafe, TCG fun, gaming PCs and, of course, delicious food and drinks to go with these fun activities! Whether you’re a seasoned gamer, lover of all things D&D, or an occasional boardgame aficionado, we’re sure you’ll find something you love in our “tavern”!

Grunk’s Tavern has been the place to hang out and chat in our Discord server, where new people are welcomed by the lovely Grunk, our orc host with a soft heart.
It has been our dream from the start to create a fun community around board games and D&D, and what better way to bring people together than by opening our own place!
What's in store for you?
Here’s a small peek at what you can expect!
Are you a D&D player or TTRPG enthusiast? Great! Our basement – the “dungeon” if you will – will have rooms for rent that will be transformed into an immersive space, all set and ready to go for the game master. As we don’t have a clear idea yet of how we want to decorate these rooms, we will need your help. Would you prefer having your D&D session in a potion shop, a tavern, or an artificer’s lab? Or perhaps a wizard’s lair? Keep an eye out for future polls!
For the board game lovers, a large section of the ground floor will be dedicated to you! Fancy creating the best wildlife preserve in Wingspan, making Mars a habitable planet in Terraforming Mars or fighting those evil monsters in Gloomhaven over a good cup of coffee/ale/mead? Grunk’s Tavern is where it’s at!
Are TCG tournaments more your cup of tea? We’ve got you covered! Our in-house TCG specialist is about to host the coolest TCG events in Belgium. We might be biased, and this has in no way been corroborated, but we think he’s the best, so we guess you’ll just have to come and see it for yourselves.
And if all of the above are not your thing because you’re more of an online gamer, well, you guessed it, there’s a room for that! Fast gaming computers, comfy chairs, the whole shebang.
Of course, a cozy time spent gaming is synonymous with delicious snacks and drinks. We plan to go hard on food and snacks!

The doors are set to officially open in 2026. In the centre of Antwerp, close to the Central Station and the Meir. More information on who, what, where, and how will follow.
